Adsense by Ary Filho

To make it easier I supplied two lists with the steps that are necessary to use Google AdSense with success on your website.
It is required that your site's design and content is finished and that have a Google AdSense account.
If you follow the links on this page a second browser window opens with the corresponding page on Google's website.
10 Steps to Google AdSense
AdSense for Content AdSense for Search
1. Login at Google AdSense with your user data.
2. Create color palettes and styles that fit to your website's style.

3. Decide where on your pages the ads and search forms shall appear.
4. Determine one or more ad formats for each position.
Determine the search form format for each position (web, site, with or without logo).
5. Create one Custom Channel for each of these combinations.

6. Create the ad or search HTML code for each single channel.

7. Insert the code into your website at the corresponding position (please pay attention to the note at bottom).
8. Repeat steps 6 and 7 for each channel.
9. Wait a few days and analyze the Google AdSense reports.

10. Decide what you want to do for optimization.
Hinweis
If you use the same ads on several pages of your website - the same HTML code - it may be very handy if you store this code in a single file. This file must be included into the actual page. This way it is not necessary to run thru all pages and manually change the code several times. And it avoids the danger to accidentally ignore page, too.
There are different approaches to this. Some examples:
* When creating the website (Offline)
o If you create your website using Microsoft FrontPage, Macromedia Dreamweaver or a similar tool, use templates to store the code inside. Templates will automatically be inserted at the corresponding position on each page.
o Almost all HTML editors support the inclusion of files while uploading by defining appropriate tags inside the HTML code.
* When the pages are visited (Online)
o If your web host or your server supports Server Server Side Includes (SSI), you may store the files on the server and let the server automatically include them when the are requested from a browser. You easily find some detailed information on the web by typing SSI and HTML into Google.
Template and Channel Names
It may be very useful if you use a system to name color palettes, styles and templates to easily identify the corresponding ad blocks in reports. I'll show you an example I use:
Für Farb-Vorlagen:
Website Position Color palette Channel name
AdSense-Tips Header - Menu Base AST HeaderMenu Base
Header - Search AST HeaderSearch Base
Left border - Menu AST LeftMenu Base
Left border - Search AST LeftSearch Base
Content AST Base
Für Channels:
Website Position Format Color palette Channel name
AdSense-Tips Header - Menu LinkBlock Base AST HeaderMenu LinkBlock Base
Header - Search Search Site AST HeaderSearch SearchSite Base
Left border - Menu LinkBlock AST LeftMenu LinkBlock Base
Left border - Search Search Web AST LeftSearch SearchWeb Base
Content - General Banner AST Content Banner Base
Right border - Ad block Skyscraper AST RightAd Skyscraper Base
I tried to combine website title, ad position, ad format (only for the channels) and color palette to a meaningful name. Because Google allows only a very limited number of characters with the names you probably will have to use some meaningful abbreviations.
